Robert Drummond

Robert Drummond and his wife Jean have been residents of Wanborough parish for over thirty years. They own land along the North side of the Hogs Back and the Western part of Wanborough woods. They are proud of its condition which has been highly regarded by Surrey Wildlife and the Forestry Commission.

Robert is retired having been in the Venture Capital industry for most of his career. and chairman of its trade association. He has held many non-executive director or chair roles in eleven public companies, Guys & St Thomas NHS Trust, The Met Office, Ploughshare (MoD subsidiary), North East Finance (Government and European backed VC company) and many smaller organisations.

Robert is determined to help the economy of Wanborough and yet also ensure that its beauty, social integrity and heritage are protected. He believes that these are all possible with the Parish Council’s help.
